We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Developer Consultant to work with one of our renowned customers.. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in C and Python, with additional experience in C++.
As an Embedded Developer Consultant, you will be responsible for various aspects of enabling data and insights from industrial equipment. This includes integration with machines and sensors, edge intelligence, wired and wireless communications, as well as IT and cloud integration. You should be familiar with protocol standards such as TCP/IP, REST, SOAP, as well as Wifi, Bluetooth, and other communication protocols commonly used in embedded systems.
The foundation of our edge gateways is Embedded Linux. Therefore, experience with Linux-based embedded systems is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working with hardware interfaces and have a good understanding of low-level programming concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate software for industrial equipment and sensors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Design and implement communication protocols such as TCP/IP, REST, and SOAP
- Develop and maintain software for edge intelligence and cloud integration
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Ensure software quality through testing and documentation
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in embedded systems development
Requirements:
What we think you can have or similar:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in C and Python
- Familiarity with C++ programming language
- Experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, REST, and SOAP
- Familiarity with Wifi, Bluetooth, and other communication protocols
- Experience with Embedded Linux and hardware interfaces
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
