PE Teacher & other subject for year 4-9/Lärare i idrott och hälsa & annat ämne för årskurs 4-9 IES Halmstad

The position

We are looking for a certified PE teacher that will teach students in year 8. You will also be a part of our on-call cover team, and help out as a cover teacher in other subjects and grades during specific hours.

You will be joining an experienced and creative team and will have responsibility for your own planning in PE. We work closely in our departments with subject development and cross curriculum themes, so we are looking for a creative team player wanting to be part of our collegial sharing approach for quality learning at our school. As an on-call cover teacher, you are flexible and happy to face new tasks each day. 

These subjects are taught in English or bilingually using Swedish. The employment will be a 80% part-time, fixed term contract for the spring term 2020 and is to commence on January 7th and end on June 15th. For the right candidate, it is possible that the employment could be renewed after that. This vacancy might also be combined with the ma/sc vacancy and extended to 100% for the right candidate.

Du kommer att arbeta med uppdraget att främja, stödja och förebygga för eleverna på skolan. Du har specialpedagogisk kompetens och ett förhållningssätt som utgår från alla människors lika värde, rätt och möjlighet att ingå i en gemenskap där de kan känna full delaktighet. Du kommer handleda personal kring elever med behov av särskilt stöd samt arbeta enskilt och i grupp med individer. Det innebär att din tjänst är både operativ i klassrummen men även till stor del administrativ.  Du ansvarar för dokumentation, screeningar och pedagogiska utredningar samt för att samordna anpassningar och särskilt stöd. 

Vårt företagsspråk är engelska och vi ser gärna att du är bekväm med engelska och talar svenska flytande. 

Kvalifikationer 

Vi söker dig som har examen i specialundervisning som specialpedagog eller speciallärare. Du har även goda erfarenheter av att samarbeta med elever, vårdnadshavare och personal. Du är med i skolans utvecklingsarbete tillsammans med skolans elevhälsoteam. Därtill är du väl insatt i styrdokument och kan omsätta dem i praktiken. Som lärare hos oss får du en nyckelroll för våra elever!

Till hösten söker vi en lärare med behörighet i Sv/SO i första hand till vår SUND-grupp, åk 4-9, med erfarenhet från arbete i särskola. Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning med 6 månaders provanställning, och börjar den 5 augusti 2019.

I din roll kommer du huvudsakligen att arbeta som lärare i SUND-grupp/flexenheten i ämnena SO/Sv samt planera och undervisa en elev som kommer följa särskolans kursplan där du kommer vara spindeln i nätet.

Du kommer även arbeta med en-till-en-undervisning och i klassrummen, främst i årskurs 4-6, där du har en nyckelroll med din kompetens för att hjälpa elever med särskilda behov. Du kommer även att i samråd med specialpedagogen och assistenter planera för hur vi bäst kan hjälpa eleverna. Du samarbetar också med elevernas mentorer i sina ordinarie klasser samt lärarassistenter.

Kvalifikationer
